Douglas Njiraini

Partnerships Support Specialist

Douglas manages the design and delivery of partnership engagements, stakeholder coordination, and strategic initiatives across ACG’s national, regional, and global platforms. He plays a central role supporting institutional clients and partners including the African School of Governance and the Rwanda Food Innovation Partnership – developing stakeholder ecosystems, coordinating complex governance structures, and helping incubate priority programmes through strategic partnerships, leadership engagements, and high-level convenings.

Doug also drives resource mobilization for institutional clients by building funding pipelines, developing concept notes and strategic materials, and engaging partners across the public, private, and philanthropic sectors.

Prior to ACG, Doug spent five years at AGRA, building deep expertise in governance, partnerships, and institutional effectiveness – from Board governance and executive-level support to multi-country food systems initiatives. With over a decade of professional experience, he brings a nuanced understanding of what it takes to translate strategic ambition into coordinated, sustainable impact.

Doug holds a BA in Business Studies and Sociology from Kenyatta University and is pursuing a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Nairobi. He is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
