Fidèle Hakorimana

Private Sector Engagement & Investments Specialist


Fidèle is an agribusiness and market development expert with a decade of experience leading high-impact programmes, agri-SME development, policy reform, and agrifood systems transformation. At ACG, he advances Rwanda’s food innovation ecosystem agenda through strategic advisory, ecosystem building, and partnership development.

 

He supports the design and operationalization of the Rwanda Food Innovation Partnership by facilitating collaboration among private sector leaders, investors, development partners, and research institutions to catalyze innovation, mobilize investments, and scale solutions across the agrifood systems. His work focuses on strengthening innovation ecosystems, unlocking investment pipelines, and growing competitive SMEs with access to regional and global markets. Prior to ACG, Fidèle served as a Policy and Regulatory Coordinator for USAID-funded projects, driving evidence-based policy reforms to modernize high-value agri-export products and attract investments. He has also served as a Product Development and Innovation Specialist at the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).

 

Fidèle holds an advanced leadership certificate from the Centre for African Leaders in Agriculture (CALA), an AGRA-led, Advanced Leadership program, driving agrifood systems transformation in Africa. He holds a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics, with specialism in Agribusiness and Marketing from the Akdeniz University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness from the National University of Rwanda.  He is based in Kigali, Rwanda.
